Valve Repair & Refurbishment

Zurich-accredited repair, testing and certification of pressure relief and boiler valves, with full traceability and insurance-recognised documentation as standard.

Accredited repair. Traceable
certification. Minimal downtime.

SVR’s valve division handles the repair and refurbishment of pressure relief valves and boiler valves across a wide range of applications, steam systems, refrigeration plant, and process equipment. Our workshop is equipped and accredited to carry out the full repair cycle: strip-down, inspection, component replacement, lapping and setting, pressure testing, and certification.

Every valve we service is individually stamped, tagged and recorded against a unique reference. You receive a certificate of test for each valve, a document your insurer and insurance inspector will recognise and accept.

Where a valve is beyond economic repair, we’ll advise you clearly and can supply a direct replacement or a suitable equivalent from stock. We also operate a service exchange programme,  a refurbished valve on the shelf while yours is in the workshop, keeping downtime to an absolute minimum.

Collection and delivery available, we can arrange to collect valves from site, service them in our workshop, and return them ready to refit.

Nabic DN40 Figure 500 Refurb, damaged internals leading to an issue of the valve not being able to reseat after being lifted. Full strip down, shotblasted in and externals, seal kit replaced, seat lapped for a nice mating surface, rebuilt and polished, set to desired set pressure, given Identifcation number and engraved, issued test certificate.

Pressure Reducing Valve
